Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Highlight Partial.

Highlight Partial focuses on the top, crown and side sections of the hair to create face-framing brightness and soft dimension. It does not process the full back panel and is designed for subtle, natural enhancement.

Appointments typically last 60–90 minutes depending on hair length, density, and desired lift. Time includes consultation and processing; a blowout or haircut is not included but can be added as a separate service.

Most partial highlights lift surface strands and rarely require full bleaching. If greater lift is desired, your colorist will assess hair condition and recommend a gentle technique to achieve brightness safely.

Clients generally return every 8–12 weeks for touch-ups, depending on growth and contrast. Because placement targets top and sides, regrowth tends to be less noticeable, often allowing longer intervals between visits.

No — Highlight Partial is a color-only service and does not include a blowout or haircut. You may add styling or a cut for an additional fee when booking to complete your look.

Use color-safe, sulfate-free shampoo and cool water to preserve tone, apply a weekly deep-conditioning mask, and minimize heat styling. Schedule professional toning or gloss treatments as recommended to maintain natural-looking dimension.
